4-9 Months to go :

· Begin your beauty regime

· Book your photographer and videographer

· Look around and view some venues for your reception

· Begin looking for attendants and own outfits

· Discuss your  Transport requirements for the day

· Choose entertainment for the evening - not forgetting the young ones :-)

· Order invitations and stationary

· Arrange Wedding license

· Select readings and music for ceremony

· Visit your florist and discuss requirements

· Choose and order your wedding cake

· Order suits for Groom, bestman and ushers

· go shopping for Shoes

· Arrange a dress fitting

· Book your wedding transport

3 Months to go :

· Send out invitations and don’t forget to keep a list of who you have invited

· Confirm ceremony venue

· Discuss and write up a gift list

· Book a hotel room for your wedding night

· Reserve accommodation for your guests

· Check hen and stag nights are being dealt with

· Choose make up and hair designs

· Choose wedding rings

· Discuss menu and food with your reception venue or caterers

· Test drive the fake Tan!!!!!!

· Buy your going away outfits

2 Months to go :

· Organise your thank you gifts for your wedding party

· Check passport and arrange inoculations

· Finalise and Organise the printing of the Order of Service

· Purchase your Wedding Licence

· Keep Track of your RSVP’s

· Confirm numbers and the menus with the caterers

· Arrange music for wedding breakfast and reception

· Go ahead with your Stag and Hen parties

1 month to go:

· Confirm all bookings

· Send out thank you’s as gifts arrive

· Arrange a seating plan

· Arrange a final dress fitting

· Order Currency for your honeymoon if going abroad

· Ensure everyone knows what to do - remind key guests about their speeches

· Organise place cards for Wedding Breakfast (so called because it is the first meal the couple with have together as Husband and Wife)

2 Weeks to go:

· Check all speeches are prepared

· Confirm arrangements with suppliers

· Wear your wedding shoes to break them in

· Organise honeymoon clothes

· Inform photographer of your “must have” pictures

 Approaching the big day

· Confirm number of guests and start a seating plan

· Re-confirm numbers with caterers

· Confirm times with photographers , florists, cars, music and entertainment

· Try on your full outfit

· Decorate venue

· Arrange and hold a rehearsal

· Eat well and stop panicking :-)

· Walk through reception arrangements

On the Day

· Best man to have the rings, collect buttonholes and flowers for the grooms family

· Best man to pack up the wedding presents safely

· Maid of honour to help dress and arrange the Veil

After the Honey moon

· Sent thank you cards

· Choose photographs

· Change your name….. And  notify people and organisations

Then…………….. Enjoy marriage life :-)
